Full circle

It takes time to go full circle

To get back to the start once again

With the highs and the lows of the journey

The acceptance of the love and the pain

It took time for me to go full circle

To be back to where I was at the start

And yes, it has been a long journey

But the flame still burns in my heart

Now back at the start of my circle

And at the end, in so many ways

My soul is still on its journey

Until that man with the violin plays

And where are you on your circle

Can you find your way back, to the start

Is the flicker of  flame still burning

In a corner, somewhere deep, in your heart.

I look at the world and I wonder.

Perhaps all of the clocks should stand still.

I look at the world and I despair.

Perhaps it’s nearly that time, when all the clocks, WILL.

Relationships. (Hello, goodbye.)

And what do THEY do when they come to an end

They find someone new and start over again.

True Love. (Without you.)

And what will WE do if it seems like the end

We will look in our hearts and begin once again.

Soul mates. (Knowing me, knowing you.)

And what would WE do if we came to the end

We’d KNOW what we had and continue as friends.

The Future. (My heart will go on.)

And what should we do, when all seems lost

We put things right and THEN count the cost.

Reincarnation. (Circles in the sand.)

And what will I do when I come to MY end

Why, I’ll die, then come back and I’ll find you again.
